We asked it for an answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. To be honest, we expected another bloody “42”, but the god was benevolent gave us these 4 words:
NFT + AI + ART + MEME
It looked like a formula or… a recipe! But what can primordial god cook with such a strange set of ingredients? Of course, a primordial soup! So, we just threw all four into the pot and here is what we’ve got:
The new superior form of life — Neural Pepe!
Believe us, all 7,777 Neural Pepe are truly gorgeous! Some of them look totally cursed, some hilarious, others resemble pieces of abstract art. Each is absolutely unique and unparalleled and utterly needs to find a degen owner to breast feed and nurture it.
Only 7,777 Neural Pepe will ever exist. Each Pepe has been AI-generated and then programmatically assigned a set of traits like skin color, background, number of eyes (yes, some of Pepe have lots of them and others have none!) which determine its rarity. What is more, there is a set of traits which are deliberately not reflected in the NFT’s metadata which will be up to users to discover. The NFTs will be based on the Binance Smart Chain.

Neural Pepe were generated using the StyleGAN2 generative adversarial network. The dataset consisted of over 7,000 different Pepe the Frog arts. The final collection includes models of different iterations to make the result more diverse. Each Neural Pepe NFT has a set of traits of different rarity. All traits were assigned using custom-made classifiers and then double-checked manually.

All 7,777 Neural Pepe NFTs will be sold in price tiers ranging from 0.07 BNB to 10 BNB during the Initial Pepe Offering (IPO) event. Each Neural Pepe will come with 420 $AI and 420 $AI more as a bonus, if it’s purchased in the first 14 days of the Initial Pepe Offering (before the Reveal Event).

Neural Pepe have a predetermined sequence, however the real index number of every Pepe will be determined using a random on-chain mechanism. The rarity grade of Neural Pepe doesn’t depend on the price tier it was purchased in.

In order to provide a fair distribution, users won’t know which Neural Pepe they purchased for the first 14 days of sale. All NP owners will discover their Pepe’s image and traits only after the reveal event.
Just like the Hashmasks, each Neural Pepe will be renamable. You’ll need to burn 420 $AI tokens in order to do it. Each Neural Pepe will come with 420 $AI and 420 $AI more, if it’s purchased in the first 14 days of the Initial Pepe Offering.
Each Neural Pepe NFT accumulates $420 per ½ year.
Number of AI emitted per year per NFT: 840 $AI
Number of AI tokens required for a single renaming: 420 $AI
Bonus AI issued for the early buyers per NFT: 420 $AI
Total daily emission of AI: 17,887.1 $AI
AI Token (AI) is a BEP-20 token which is gradually allocated to every Neural Pepe holder at a rate of 2.3 $AI per NFT per day.
Unlike the Hashmasks, renaming will not be the only purpose of $AI token as Neural Pepe is just the first collection of the Neural Meme project.
1) Neural Pepe renaming
$AI Token is used for renaming Neural Pepe. Each renaming costs 420 $AI which get burnt in the process.
2) Neural Meme governance
$AI will be used for decentralized decision-making regarding the following seasons of Neural Meme project, $AI emission and the future of unsold Neural Pepe (if there are such). For instance, AI holders will decide who’ll be the next hero of the Neural Meme NFTs and how they will be distributed.
3) Payment for future NFTs
Potentially, it will be possible to pay with $AI for the future Neural Meme collections.
As we mentioned above, Neural Pepe will be just the first project in the Neural Meme family, which will be fueled by the $AI token which will only be farmed by Neural Pepe NFT holders.
