Job DetailsSeeking a dynamic and innovative R&D / Vaccine Production Lead to join our team in the Scientific industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of scientists and technicians in the research, development, and production of innovative vaccines. This role requires a strong background in biology, microbiology, and lab techniques, with specific experience in vaccine production. The R&D / Vaccine Production Leader will play a crucial role in advancing our organization's mission to develop groundbreaking solutions to global health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the research and development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Oversee the production process of vaccines, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Develop and implement R&D strategies and production plans in line with company goals.
• Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments, utilizing techniques such as plasmid and wet lab procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the successful transfer of vaccine products from research to production.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific advancements, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to vaccine development and production.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Communicate complex scientific information to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Foster relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and research institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in research, development, and production in the scientific industry, with a focus on vaccine development.
• Proven experience in managing a team of scientists and technicians.
• Strong knowledge of lab techniques, including plasmid and wet lab procedures.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific information to a variety of audiences.
• Proven track record of successful product development and launch in the scientific industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements related to vaccine development and production.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
