All Burning Shores Door Codes - Horizon Forbidden West Guide - IGN (2024)

Whether you're completing quests, searching for collectibles, or aimlessly roaming the Burning Shores, you'll occasionally stumble upon locked doors that can only be opened by entering the correct code into their corresponding security terminals. Though you can discover door codes by investigating the area or examining Datapoints, finding the codes can become a tedious affair if you don't know where to look.

In this Burning Shores guide, we'll provide a comprehensive list of all the codes needed to open the locked doors in the DLC's Main Story and Side Quests, as well as a few codes that'll help you snag some rare Collectibles.

Heaven and Earth Door Code

After defeating the Clamberjaws to reach the Control Room with the planetary holograms, you'll walk up a set of stairs and find that the door to Londra's living quarters is locked. To unlock the door, enter the code 3285 into the security terminal, and you'll be free to continue the Heaven and Earth quest!

How to Find the Heaven and Earth Door Code

If you're curious about how to find the code or simply interested in some extra Heaven Cent lore, here's some additional info. To determine the door code, activate the Primary Control Console near the planetary holograms. After listening to the initial audio log, activate the Secondary Control Console, and Seyka will play a second audio log.

When the log ends, hold R3 to use your Focus to scan through the different yearly asteroids until you find information that relates to the audio log you just heard. When you scan the asteroid that relates to the audio log, read the log's transcription to identify any numbers that might be used to unlock the door. Perform this process with the three subsequent audio logs, and you'll have determined the four digits needed to unlock the door. For more specific information on the years and asteroids you need to scan, take a look at the list below:

Fandom Zone Door Code - Dimorphodon Figurine

The first Pangea Figurine you can find is the Dimorphodon, and it's located northeast of the tutorial area where Aloy and Seyka meet during the quest, To the Burning Shores. Found within the ruins of The Fandom Zone collectibles shop, the Dimorphodon cannot be collected unless you know the shop's door code. To access The Fandom Zone, enter the code 111464 and you'll find the Dimorphodon Figurine on the floor to your right.

Where to Find the Fandom Zone Door Code - Dimorphodon Figurine

If you're interested in finding the source of the door code, use your Focus to scan the Datapoint inside The Fandom Zone, and you'll learn that the code was carved atop the nearby tower. From the front of the collectibles shop, look north and shoot the triangular panel on the tower to drop the ladder.

Use the ladder to climb to the top, and you'll find the code carved into the floor.

Relic Ruins: Murmuring Hollow Door Code

After moving the two trains within the Relic Ruins: Murmuring Hollow, you'll reveal a locked door that can only be opened with a four-digit code. To unlock the door and collect the Kyle's Last Ball ornament to complete this Relic Ruin, use the security terminal and enter the code 1315.

How to Find the Relic Ruins: Murmuring Hollow Door Code

To find the door code yourself, look to the left of the locked door that requires a Key Module and use your Focus to scan the Datapoint titled, "Locked Out. Again". The Datapoint will inform you that the door code can be found somewhere above you.

Head back outside, call your Flying Mount, and hover above the Relic Ruins. Use your Mount to pull the blue-colored grate, and you'll cave in the roof to create an entrance.

Drop through the hole in the roof and scan the "Temporary Access Portal" Datapoint to learn the door code. With the door code in hand, return to the ruins below and enter 1315!

A Friend in the Dark Door Codes

After using the Key Module to unlock the door that leads to Gildun, follow the natural until you find the locked door beside the open vent entrance. To unlock this door, enter the code 117, then walk down the steps to the left of the control panel to reach a large open room. In this open room, you'll find another locked door that requires both a Key Module and a four-digit code.

Once you've retrieved Ron's Spare Key Module from the upper level and defeated the Burrowers that invade the room, return to the security console. After inserting the Key Module, enter the code 1247 to access the room and continue the A Friend in the Dark Side Quest!

How to Find the A Friend in the Dark Door Codes

After using the Key Module to find Gildun, follow the natural path and search for an alcove on your left to find the "Dead Wait" Datapoint. Scan the Datapoint, and you'll learn that the code for the first door is 117, a reference to Ron's birthday January 17th.

To find the second door code, use the crate in the open room to reach the ledge just beneath the locked door. Once on the second level, enter the room to the left of the locked door and use your Pullcaster (L2 + Triangle) to pry open the vent.

Crawl through the vent, and when you reach the other side, climb across the yellow-colored railings. Finally, find and scan the Bean Counter Datapoint to learn that the door code is ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY-SEVEN.

Dino Digits Quiz Codes and Solutions

Once you've collected all five Pangea Figurines, head to the Dino Digits attraction at the center of Pangea Park. While facing the Jane hologram at the center of the area, head to the leftmost console and interact with it to begin the Dino Digits Quiz. Starting from the leftmost console and working your way to the right, enter the codes listed below to solve the Dino Digits Quiz!

After correctly answering all five questions in the Dino Digits Quiz, you'll be treated to a fireworks display and receive your reward of 250 XP, +3 Skill Points, and the Pangea Forever Face Paint!
